Are you getting tired of your WordPress blog pinging other entries on your journal that you’ve been linking to in a new article? Apparently, some people think it’s useful but i personally think it’s pretty ugly. For example: in this post from a few days ago i linked to an older article which was somewhat related, and this resulted in a cryptic comment at the bottom of the article which has link that leads to the exact same article you have been linking from.

To make a long story short: if you don’t like it as well you can fix it by downloading No Self Pings, a 497-byte plug-in that does exactly what it says.
